CINDERELLA PROJECT
Cinderella Project Complete!

This spring was very busy at the rescue, to say the least! April 1st, 40 neglected horses were seized by the
Humboldt County Sheriff’s Department. HRHR was contacted to provide assistance.
Since that time, two of the horses were euthanized due to irredeemable suffering, seven were released to a
person that had purchased them prior to the seizure, 25 were adopted at an auction hosted by the
Humboldt County Sheriff’s Department and 6 were released to Heart of the Redwoods for rehabilitation.
Three of the horses have found their “forever homes” and three are still in need of a home. Please contact
Sara Isaacson at: redwoodrescue@aol.com,  if you are interested in adopting one of these wonderful equines.
Check the website as current photos should be posted very soon.
